Shawmut Inn Inc., 22 acre oceanfront resort property located one mile north of George Bush's summer home. Considered to be one of the "Big 3" hotel properties in Kennebunkport. 90 rooms, 6 conference rooms, fine dining restaurant. Mission: to increase revenues and bottom line of resort and lead the conversion of the property to 5 star status as a Vacation Ownership resort.

Accomplishments:
Increased overall resort revenues 32% in first year!
Lowered cost of sales from 88 to 83%.
Room Revenues up 38%!
Corporate Group Business up 49%!
Social Group Business up 17%!
Instituted entirely new systems, pricing schemes, and packaging.
Hired and trained almost entirely new staff.
Coordinated entire new marketing and media campaigns with all new creative.
Instituted all new sales reports and sales tracking programs.
Totally rewrote all resort operating plans and schedules.
Established priority of capital projects for resort improvements.

Waterville Company Inc. is a year round resort village (including 7 lodging properties), conference center and recreation company located in the White Mountain Region of New Hampshire. Company sales exceeded 19 million annually.

Areas of responsibility:
All group and conference marketing and sales with sales staff of up to 7.
Central reservations and staff of 5 to 14.
Responsible for 26,000 vacation room nights and 21,000 group room nights in 93/94.
Resort pricing and packaging on a year round basis for lodging, both vacation and group, lifts, recreation, summer programs, etc.
All corporate, lodging, ski shop and off-site ticket sales.
In-house television station and video department.
In July ‘94 assumed all Director of Hospitality functions including Conference Center and Town Square Condominiums lodging and operational responsibilities.
Reported directly to President.

Accomplishments:
75% two year gross revenue increase in vacation sales (lodging bureau).
679% increase in group vacation sales ($100,000 to $679,000).
37% increase in off-site lift ticket sales.
11% increase in Conference Business.

An award winning 1,235 acre year round resort complete with 350 condominiums units (including 8 million per year vacation ownership program in 1992), conference center, and year round recreational amenities.

Specific areas of responsibility included:
Oversaw all group sales and marketing operations of group lodging business.
Marketing, selling, positioning, advertising, promotions, and budgeting for all day lift ticket sales including: Day Lifts, Group Lifts, Off-site ticket sales, and Season Pass and Frequent Skier Programs.
Produced, purchased and placed all radio, television, and newspaper advertising in the Vermont, Quebec, and northern New York markets.
Designed and oversaw production all lift and group promotional pieces including trail maps, group travel planners, self mailers, etc.
Oversaw all personnel and computer systems in lift ticket booths.
